A dreamer!

I was asked to write an article for a website recently, about how I became a medium and when did I notice I first had the gift. It got me thinking about all the incidents in my life. I remember in primary school, I had a lot of conversations in my head. Now I know I was talking to spirit / higher self.
I used to day dream a lot in classes, I can remember looking out of the window and just gazing, the teacher calling me back and telling me to concentrate, but what she didn't realise was that I was concentrating. I was concentrating on seeing / feeling the energy outside of the classroom, it was much more appealing than concentrating on the dull stuff we 'had' to learn.
Recently I was talking with one of my ex teachers from primary school, knowing now that I am a medium, she said to me, you were always in a dream state, I had to call your name several times to bring you back into the classroom. what were you looking at?
Sometimes I would be just 'lost in space' and other times I would be hearing messages from the spirit world, nothing to share at the time, but I find myself sharing the information more and more in the present day. One of the major messages that keeps coming to mind is "Life is a game" learn to play it with fun, there is no competition to be better than anyone else, just yourself, learn to be a better person, learn to develop your compassion for other races, learn tolerance, just try to be better than you were yesterday. Life is just a game, no pressure, just have fun.


So today enjoy playing your game, experiment with different attitudes, see how what you do affects people around you. Speak with kindness, do what you do with enthusiasm, like it's the first time you have done it, it's all new to you. Have fun.

Spiritual Cafe

It's been a few days since I blogged, but I will tell you what I have been up to.... Thursday saw the first Spiritual Cafe, what an exciting day, many more than were expected came through the doors, readings were given and healing recieved and lots of tea and cake sold too. It was a lovely atmosphere, people making new friends and sharing their thoughts on life and beliefs. It really was an honour and a pleasure to be part of it.
The next Spiritual Cafe will be on the 2nd October 2pm-4.30pm if you want to come and join in the fun.
Today at the same venue, we had an 'Infinity & Beyond' day, it was a mini psychic afternoon, I was kept busy giving therapies and readings, whilst others too were busy giving readings to members of the public.
It was again a lovely atmosphere and we look forward to the next one.
Today too, I have been discussing a ghost hunt with a friend. so watch out for that too. I am going to be the medium for the event... exciting ......
 And now it's time for bed, gather my energy ready for a new week. So a day off tomorrow with the family to catch up, share stories, and reconnect. have a great week, until the next time

Psychic Awareness

Exciting stuff... Classes are now underway :-) Last week saw the first beginners course on Psychic development and this week two more new groups start. I have been really enjoying putting these classes together to help others get back in touch with their intuition and as I work more and more with my intuition, so I find that it is growing stronger and I am finding myself saying, 'I said that.. I Knew that.. '
Why develop your psychic ability?
Everyone has a sixth sense, we are just not encouraged to use it, which is a shame as this is where new ideas come from, inspired creativity and a desire to explore.
Working with our own energy, as I teach in the groups and workshops, you uncover that sixth sense and bring it to light, yes initially it is a struggle, but eventually it is worth all the struggle, as life opens up new doors of possibility, you are less likely to follow the crowd and more likely to become more independant, it gives you a sense of freedom as you feel braver to step out alone. The sixth sense helps you to be aware of your own strengths and weaknesses, you stop relying on other people and rely on your own abilities, you are more likely to try new things and live life.
I love the feeling of freedom it has given me, life is no longer a struggle, I am more content and at peace with the world. I'm not perfect, I am still learning, but that's what life is about, learning...

Self employed and loving it :-)

The time has come and I left my paid job and become self employed. Loving every minute so far, and it looks like my life's path is changing every day.. I'm just going with the flow.. Lots of new ideas coming in and now I have time to action them rather than just writing them down for a later date.
My first venture is A Spiritual Cafe, joining forces with The Exmouth Spiritual Circle of Light, we are offering mini readings, healing, and we have on hand mediums and healers to talk to, to bring comfort, help to answer questions on metaphysical and spiritual problems. The first one being on the 18th September 2pm - 4.30pm, there is a small charge for readings, healings and tea, coffee, ( and homemade cake)  but no charge to come along and be in the company of other like minded people. Everyone is welcome, Healers, Readers and Mediums, come along and help each other in this warm and friendly enviroment.
The next projects are teaching, (I was always told I would be a teacher) development groups, I have 3 new courses all set up and running, small friendly groups. New dates will be published soon for more introductionary couses. If you can't commit to a 6 week course I have a day workshop planned which is a condensed version of the course, the date is saturday 18th October.
 Reiki 1st degree right up to Masters and Angel workshops are also planned.
 I am oraganising evenings of Clairvoyance as well as running my Therapy business. So all in all I'm probalably busier than being paid to do a job, but, much happier to be doing my thing.
Life really is good... :-)

Have Faith

I tuned into my deck of Mermaids and Dolphin cards this morning, the card that came up for the day was 'Have Faith' I myself am struggling with having faith, I know everything will work out fine, but the doubts creep in and that old friend  'what if' appears.... so todays meditation is to sit quiet with that old friend 'what if' and have a talk with him, I tell him my dreams and listen everytime he says 'what if' then think of the positive 'what if's', My dream is I want to be self employed, my old friend 'what if' is saying, what if you aren't successful? what if you struggle to pay the rent? what if it's too much work? what if no one wants what you offer? Then up crops another old friend 'I'm not good enough!' ok a party is starting now!! So I tell 'I'm not good enough' that I must be good enough, as I passed my exams and have reached a standard accceptable to practise, and that I have been continually learning since I passed my exams and more!! so 'I'm not good enough goes quiet.. back to 'What if'.. I ask 'what if, what if I am successful? 'What if' then says yes, what if you are successful? what if people do want what you have to offer? what if you enjoy doing what you dream of feels so good it's not hard work and you are able to be self sufficient? hey that sounds good, 'What if' is getting excited now at the prospect of being self employed, doing what we love doing, helping people and healing people, 'Faith' is growing, a small seed of faith has been watered with imagination, and as long as I check in regularly to see if 'What if' is supporting me or not, I have faith my dream will grow and blossom.
So if you have a dream, tune into your 'old friends' and see if they are helping you or hindering you. talk to them and help them see your dream and get them on your side to help manifest your dreams.. I'm off to write my notice out.. Have a good day :-)

A Claivoyant Evening

 I have been busy, I now have a date and venue for an Evening of Clairvoyance with Medium Ruth Coghlan. At the Bastin Hall Elm Grove Exmouth Devon. Wednesday 27th August 7.30pm £4 on the door.
What is entailed in an evening of clairvoyance?
The medium (in this case Ruth) connects to your loved ones in spirit, and brings you evidence of survival after death of the physical body. This can help bring peace to those who are left behind, also our loved ones can give us information and guidance in our own lives as they are very aware of our lives and the problems we face.
There is nothing to be scared of, we all have this natural ability to communicate with our loved ones, and we all have had some form of contact whether through dreams or through little nudges, looking through photos and favourite songs.
If it's your first time or you have been to these events before, you will be made very welcome, stay and have a cup of tea after and chat to myself or to Ruth or make new friends.
